What is Paja?

Paja is a super-set of the Java programming language designed at enhancing the power of Java to support genericity. This is done through the indroduction of parametric classes.

It was the purpose of a Master's thesis in ULB, with the help of Phidani sowftare.

Its features:

• implemented by "patching" the standard Sun compiler
• first-class parametric and parameter types: there is no restriction on the use of newly introduced types.
• no code duplication: code is never duplicated, neither as source or binary form
• works on plain JVM
